How do my students set up their individual BoosterBucks fundraising page?
Here's how to set up your personal BoosterBucks fundraising page. You will create your fundraising page using the tool in your BoosterHub app.
From the Dashboard on your app, select Tools, then Fundraising. Click on the link of the current rally, and it will take you to the setup wizard. If you don't have the app, you will get an email or a text message with a link to this wizard.
- Personalize your page and your message. Modify the default message and photos to tell your personal story. How will donations help you succeed? What kind of impact has your activity had on your life?
- Add Contacts to the system. To whom do you want BoosterHub to text and email your fundraising page? The more contacts you add, the more support you'll receive. Add family, friends, neighbors, mentors, coworkers, anyone you think may want to support your goals. Your aim is to add 20 contacts. You'll be surprised at how many people in your life would love to support you. Every donation, big or small, contributes to your fundraiser's success. Booster Bucks will email and text your contacts and automatically follow up with those who don't respond through the duration of your fundraiser.
- Send a one-time message from your personal email or phone number, letting your contacts know that the fundraiser is happening. Donors will appreciate the reassurance that the fundraiser links are safe and legitimate, and the personal contact helps drive interest in your fundraiser. Select the email or text icon next to the contact, and it will pull up your personal email or device. Then hit Send.
- Share your link to your social media platforms. Click on the icons to be directed to your personal social media with the message and the links already queued up for you.
- Come back to add more contacts at any time during your rally. The success of your fundraiser relies on the number of people who know about it, so share, share, share!
