10.1 Merchandise Personalization
Hey boosters, we've gotten a lot of requests for personalization of BoosterHub Merch items, so we've implemented a process for you to take personalized orders and get them shipped from BoosterHub Merch. Personalization cannot be done directly from items added to your store using BoosterHub Merch.
Instead, you need to add these items for sale through the store module. First, create the item inthe Merch module and use the preview screen in the design to download the images you need. Make note of the club cost of the item so you can determine what you want to charge. You'll also need to factor in the cost of shipping.
To get an idea of the shipping cost, you can make adummy bulk order and take note of the cost quoted.You need to decide if you plan to order these individually and have them shipped to the purchaser, or if you wanna make this a bulk order shipped to one location. Once you determine how you plan to ship the items, get that shipping estimate so you know how much to add to the sales price.
Now go to the store module and add the yard signto your online store from there. And be sure to collect and remit sales tax according to your state's guidelines. Don't forget to create an add-on to collect the personalization info you need from the purchasers. Once you've finished your online sales,you can go back to the merchandise module toplace the orders.
If you want them shipped to the individual purchaser, you'll need to create each sign in the Merch module with its personalization and then order it with a quantity of one. If you would rather order them all to be shipped to one address such as the school, you'll need to submit a contact form in the help center to send us your personalization list and alert us before you place the order.
If we know you are doing this ahead of making the order, we can create the personalized items on your behalf and submit them to the printer, and then you would pay using the bulk order form.
