BoosterHub Academy: 8.1 BoosterSTUB—QR Code Tickets

A BoosterStub Ticket is a QR code Ticket. When bought from your Store, the purchaser can download the Ticket or receive it in email, and they also have these Tickets in their BoosterHub app. This allows you to scan the Tickets at entry—which is great for events with many attendees—and they can be scanned from the BoosterHub app. You can always make a general Product in the Store as a ticket, but using a QR code allows faster check-in. There is a fee of $1 charged to the purchaser for each QR code Ticket. (To set up a Ticket, older clubs need to set up a second merchant account with USIO if you have not already done so when you initially purchased your BoosterHub subscription or added BoosterBucks fundraising.)

Go to Store > Add Items > Add a Ticket. Add the team name, select if the Ticket is a Season Pass, add a Description, select Date, Time, and Location, and add a photo or it will default to your logo.

At the Pricing & Accounting screen, select the Accounting account, Tag program or category, add price, and add to a season pass if you would like to do that. Click Next and select Online Store and click Done.

Now that the Ticket is in the Online Store, you can navigate to the website, to the Store, and down to the specific Ticket and check out. The check out works similar to the others, except that Tickets must be their own purchase, and other Products a separate purchase. Checking out creates a receipt, and at the top of the screen, the user has the ability to download their Tickets. Downloading their Ticket gives them the image of the Ticket. They will also receive an email with the Ticket, and it will also be available in the BoosterHub app.

To scan the Ticket, open your BoosterHub app and navigate to Tools > Scanner. Select the event, and then your QR coded window will appear. You can then slide a QR code in email, digital, or paper form under the scanner, and the scanner will give you a green Verified check if it is a match. Only those Admins whose Settings > Admin Settings > Manage Store permissions are Full or Cashier Only will have the Scanner on their app.
