BoosterHub Academy: 1.0 Settings

 

Welcome to BoosterHub! Let's establish the Settings for your account. On the left navigation bar, scroll all the way to the bottom and select Settings.

 

 

Select Club Settings on the middle menu. This is where you'll find your basic Club Information.

 

  • Add your club logo by clicking +Add Photo on the photo thumbnail below the Club Information title and selecting a logo from your files.
  • Set your club Primary and Secondary colors. These colors will populate your navigation bar, your website, and your app colors. You can either enter the digital code for your colors or use the slider bar to get the colors, and then click the small, blue disk Save icon towards the upper right of the screen. 
  • Enter the various identifying and contact information for your club. 
    • Note that you MUST enter a street address for your booster club. If your booster club does not have a street address, use the street address of your school. A street address is required to establish your USIO merchant account. Once that is established, you change the address back to a PO box if you wish.
    • If your club has a different legal name than the name you want displayed on BoosterHub, enter your legal name in the Legal Club Name box. That legal name will be used for important legal information that comes out of Booster Hub.
    • After entering your Club Email, click Verify. You will receive an email at this address from Amazon Web Servers. Click the link in that email, and then you will see an Activate button here. Once you click Activate, you will be allowed to send emails from this email address.
    • Select your Time Zone, as this is important for sending scheduled emails.
    • Enter your current chosen website address. Alternatively, if you plan to use your BoosterHub Subdomain (ending in .boosterhub.com) as your web address, enter a placeholder web address (such as www.yourboosterclubname.org) for now. You can update the name once you create it in Webmaster. You will first establish it in Webmaster (in the left navigation bar), and then copy and paste it here into the website address.
  • Add your social media links in the Social Media section. These will populate the social media links throughout the system, including in your emails and on your website.
  • In Dashboard Settings you can make a custom message for your club.
  • Click the small, blue disk Save icon towards the upper right of the screen to save all of your changes.

 

Select Accounting Settings in the middle menu if you wish, although this section can be bypassed for now. This topic is fully covered in the accounting training.

 

  • However, if you want to add any Teams (additional clubs) to your main account, you will need to set up your Accounting Settings before doing so.

 

Select Admin Settings in the middle menu.

 

  • To add an admin to your account, click the blue Add Admin icon at the top right. You will then see a list of people who are in BoosterHub. The names you select will be added to the admin list. You can then customize their rights based on the level of access you would like each of them to have.
  • You must always have at least one person designated a Master Admin. 
  • Under the Account section, you can update a variety of features on or off, or disable them in the system.  Some commonly used features are the ability to disable the all member chat and the ability to collect credit card fees from customers/donors.

 

Select BoosterHub Settings.

 

  • Determine if you would like a Standard or Pro account, then click and enter Payment Info, check the renewal info box, and click Save. If you would like to add another Team, select the Pro account, and consider the options to add additional teams at the bottom.
  • Activate your USIO Merchant Account. Click the Activate Merchant Account box to populate your information from Settings. Click Create and you will be taken to the USIO merchant account page. Complete the remainder of the USIO form and click Submit the Click to Agree Form. At least one individual from the club will need to enter identifying information of birth date and last 4 digits of Social Security Number. By federal regulation, this information is required of banks to know their customers, and it does not require any personal credit checks.
  • If you need to purchase a credit card terminal, you can do so after activating your merchant account. Choose the device you would like, enter your shipping information, and decide whether you want it to bill to the account on file or add additional payment information.

 

Select User Settings to update your personal information. All users have access to their own settings, and they can also be found on the mobile app under Settings.
