BoosterHub Academy: 6.41 Webmaster— Paid Registration Pages

You may want to build a Registration Page with a Paid membership requirement. This requires your members to pay dues or purchase a membership before they can access your BoosterHub account. In this example, I have built it two levels to choose from: a gold level that comes with a shirt, a hat, and a parking pass, and a $50 level that comes with a shirt.

The member fills out the top with the requested info and chooses a level, which will populate at the bottom with the included products and a checkout screen. Here is the backend of this page so you can see how it's built in Webmaster. I'm opening the published Registration Page. Click on the Edit button, and you can see what steps went into the design of this page.

I chose Paid instead of Free, entered a description, instructions, and a photo. Here is where I added the two membership levels I'm offering on the page. You can add as many levels as you want. First build your Memberships in the Store module. They will then pull in here, so you can choose which you want to add to this particular page.

Note that you can build a $0 Membership that grants access to your club's BoosterHub account if you want to offer Paid memberships, but you don't want to require payment in order for a parent to volunteer or access the app on their phone. Note that I named our registrant a Member, but this could be Parent or Player if you choose.

I'm adding a Membership Tag to the registrant, and just like in the basic registration, I'm choosing what information I want filled out here. You can register multiple members here as well. You could make this a family registration by adding a Family Membership level, or you can have a separate registration and call it Family Registration.

A website with multiple registration forms would look like this one. I added a Family Registration page and added the $0 option. Let's take a look at how to build the memberships with prices and perks in the Store module. Use the Add Items wizard and choose Add a Membership. Give it a name and description and add your photo if you want one.

Next, add any Products that come with this membership level. This will pull any Products in your Store for you to choose from, so be sure that your perks are added as Products before you create your membership levels. Let's add a t-shirt, a hat, and parking pass. Now I have the Products here, and I can choose how many come with this membership level.

A family level could come with multiple shirts or a gold level could come with a certain number of concession passes. The options are customizable to your preferences. Next, select which account the money from this Membership will go to. How much are the dues for this level? Is there a limited number of these Memberships available?

You can offer a Payment Plan and click on Done to save. Create all your membership levels this way, and they will be available to add into your Registration Pages when you build them. Of note: Paid members will need to be approved by an Admin, just like those on a Free registration. The process is the same.

You have access to reporting in your Store module. The Registration Report will pull a list of people who have registered and paid within a date range. Run this list by each membership level if you want to require your members to re-register and pay dues for membership every year. Create an updated Registration Page or edit your existing Registration Page at year end or season end to change the page name and change the membership Tag to the new year.

You could use the Tag system in People to email them a link to the new Registration Page with a reminder to renew. You could also use Bulk Actions to move them to Non-members until they renew their registration.
