Calendar

    • To upload/sync the BoosterHub Calendar to iCal, Apple calendars, and Google calendars (or any other calendar), you can either select the Subscribe to Calendar icon at the top right in Calendar, or copy the link from the bottom of the Public Calendar which is on your club's public website. This allows Apple and Google calendars to continuously request event information from BoosterHub on the back end. This is what “syncs” the calendars to BoosterHub. If you would like to choose only events from a specific Tag, you can first filter the Calendar to show that Tag and then use the Subscribe to Calendar button.
    • For bringing outside calendar information into the internal Calendar of BoosterHub (on the lefthand navigation bar), although there is no continuous syncing, you can import each time as needed. Go to Calendar > Import Calendar for this option, and follow the checklist steps.
  • Currently there is no way to import opportunities. However, you can import Calendar Events and then add the Volunteer Opportunities.

To do so, navigate to Volunteer > Add Event > Import Calendar.

    • Navigate to Calendar in web version of BoosterHub, not the app.
    • Click on the event.
    • In the upper right of the sidebar, select the Delete icon.

Events that have been deleted from the Calendar cannot be recovered.

  • Yes. People can volunteer without being a Member through the public Calendar on your website. You will need to make the event a Public event and then will show on the Calendar. Visitors to your website can click on the Event and sign up for a Volunteer Opportunity.

  • Yes. Go to your club's public website. On the website, navigate to the Calendar. At the bottom of the Calendar is a link to subscribe.

  • No, only one reminder notification goes out to participants per Calendar Event.

  • There are 3 kinds of Reminders sent out for Volunteer and Calendar Events.

    • You can set a Reminder to be sent via email a specific number of days before an Event. This will go to all Members or to only those people with the Tag for this event, if set to Private Event. Set this when creating the Event by going to either Calendar > Add Event, or Volunteer > Add Event. Scroll about halfway down and add a number of days to Set Reminder x days before event.
    • Volunteers always receive a Reminder via email one day prior to the Event for which they are scheduled.
    • An Open Spot Reminder goes out to all Members 2 days prior to an Event, to let everyone know that some Volunteer Opportunities are unfilled. You can turn this function ON or OFF in Settings > Admin Settings and scroll down to the Set Open Spot Reminder toggle. If toggled ON, you can choose the specific number of empty spots that will trigger the Reminder to be sent.

    • You will need to first edit the list of volunteers by going to Volunteer.

    • Click Remove Volunteer next to each person's name.
    • Go to Calendar, select the Event, and click the Delete icon.
